Would be nice to delete specific message from the chat context. Like it’s implemented in Google AI Studio. I know you can edit message and it will regenerate the response, but in some cases delete button would be nice.

So, I think it would make sense to add a feature to be able to remove messages (questions or answers) from a chat, either when the context becomes too large to continue, or the model went in a bad direction and we don’t want it to stubbornly get attached to its previous responses.
And as a bonus this would save Ping input token costs ;)
For me it also happens that I have multiple chats about kinda the same topic, like API Structure and frontend DEV structure for that an I write a message in the wrong chat which messes with context and my ability to use the chats as implementation docs.
Would be awesome to delete messages and the responses from a chat to keep it clean when entered a message in the wrong chat.

I’d also add that maybe a “Hide Message” might be a bit nicer, like it would just collapse the message (And remove it from context) unless I re-show it.

Yeah I often need to go off on a semi-related sub-tangent and then back to the main “conversation” but that tangent is just noise after it’s done. I wish I could delete both User and Agent messages from a conversation to clean it up.
E.g. I was asking about the best Deep Fried Turkey recipe and in the middle of the convo I asked “Wait is it safe to use my wireless thermometer in the oil?”, well after that was answered I wished I could just remove that message so that the regular recipe convo was easier to scan/scroll through without that in the way.

I find delete button on any message very useful in google ai studio, because then i can create branch of the chat and control set of messages in it for further runs of the model

The previous messages get in the context which:
