Please do it with the Filesystem API. We wouldn’t need to reattach files when they change locally. Opens the door for letting T3 Chat apply changes to these files. See this post

Assuming this’d work like how you can upload code files to ChatGPT/Claude, this would be borderline essential for me. Although it’s not hard to select all, copy, and paste into the chat box it’d be cleaner & faster to upload the code as a file. :+1:

.CSV, .TXT, .MD These are the file formats I most commonly want to attach and none of them are accepted.
I could survive if you made you convert .SQL, .PY, .YAML, etc. to .TXT. Ugly but sure, whatever.
But if you’re gonna make me convert any of these to .PDF first then that’s borderline psychotic.

I keep having to paste different files from my project and writing their names to make use of Gemini 2.5 Pro’s context. This is killing the experience for me. Allowing text files attachment is the most important lacking feature in this product and it’s making me dread using it.
