Input content stays when pasting external content and hitting enter before content is uploaded

I've noticed that the input field doesn't clear after submitting a prompt, particularly when an image or lengthy content is uploading in the background. Ideally, upon successful submission, the input should reset, even if an upload was ongoing when I hit "submit."

    Input fails to clear when sending before attachments finish

    basically the title says it all.
    when a user submits an image with a text prompt and hits ‘send’ before the image is actually done uploading ,the prompt does auto send once the image is uploaded but the text stays in the textbox

      The same for pasting text, I’m guessing its for all uploads
