Message deep links

Add a link button to messages (both user and assistant) to create a deep link to the message.

By going to this link corresponding chat should be opened and being scrolled to the message.

Use case:
During working in chat I decide that I can go back to the same message later to read it again. Using link I can save it in my to-do list and go back to it any time without having to save the whole message in external source.

    Merged request

Permalink to a single reply to share with colleagues

I frequently experience situations in which I find really great and helpful answers and want to share them with others. Copying doesn’t really give the same markdown, and even if it does I don’t always use messengers that understand markdown. I would love to share the answers exactly how I see them in t3.

Having a share link with a UID to a single message could be great (t3.app/share/abc123def456) that renders just the message (and maybe optionally the prompt, if I decide to? share button could maybe be a dropdown with ‘Share Conversation / Answer+Prompt / Answer only’) without much other fuzz.

This could also serve as a great opportunity to spread the word on t3 and hook friends ;)

so you want to be able to share a single message/response instead of the whole conversation as is currently possible?

Yea, exactly. I tend to have really long conversations to maximize context, but sharing those mostly doesn’t help others. Sharing a link to just a single response is sometimes way more useful.

Oh, I can see how useful it can be for making class notes, when asking questions to t3chat during the lecture. Also it could be good for my Obsidian note taking.
