Use Vertex API for accessing Google models!

Using Gemini 2.5 Pro on t3.chat is really really slow. Please use the Vertex API instead of Google AI studio for faster speeds as we can see on OpenRouter that the latency is way shorter there.

    We do not use Vertex endpoints at this time (Jan 2026), therefore vertex api keys will not work either.

      My bad, I thought T3 Chat was on Vertex since the settings page instructed to get the API key from Google Cloud Console. The API key generated from AI Studio matches the format. May I suggest directing the user to AI Studio instead?
