Unable to delete chats

Screen flickers (seizure inducing) and asks cannot delete chats. If I click on the “Confirm” button the chat does not delete and continues to flicker. I’m left with no option but to click on the “Cancel” button to cancel the delete at which point the screen stops flickering. This happens for both pinned and non-pinned chats.
