UI resets overnight, forcing me to refresh the page

Feature Request

When I close my laptop for the night and come back the following morning, and navigate to an open t3.chat tab, I find that it’s reset. I’m still logged in, but none of my archived chats are visible, it’s prompting me to “Make sure you agree to our Terms and our Privacy Policy”, and most importantly, my preferred default model is no longer selected. Instead, the t3.chat logged-out default is selected (currently that’s Kimi K2). I’m on Google Chrome 144, on macOS 26.2.

    I have a very similar problem, when my mac sleeps for a while, i come back and find the ui state reset. The worse thing is url is reset too, so i’m forced to remember what that tab was and find it again. Going back doesn’t work.

      Can you clarify what you mean by “reset” as in you are returned to the main “https://t3.chat/” or something different like what the OP is describing where it appears logged out? Do you need to log back in when coming back? What OS and browser are you using?

        I’m not logged out when coming back, but i’m returned to main page (/).

        I’m using Helium on MacOS Sequoia latest versions.

        This problem was not happening before, I think it started a couple months ago.

    Same problem, I’m on Windows 11, Chrome, also pinned tab.

    having this too - sometimes this happens over laptop sleep, sometimes (probably) - due to VPN switching on&off (but not sure about this).

    I’m using a T3.chat pinned as a chrome app/page to the desktop (masOS).

    Oh, even in this state the app receives notifications about updates and if i click ~“reload to get new version”, the UI gets fixed.

    their are some stability issues on both the smartphones browser aswell as the pc browser

    on PC this causes lost connection over longer amounts of time and the wiping of screen contents wich is the most annoying part of it (maybe let screen contents andalready loaded messages just persist even when loosing connection and just show a pop-up that tells the user he is offline and must refresh the pages

    and android smartphones often kills it too and sometimes even has browsers crashing when loading a chat with to many messages
