On an o3-mini chat, terminal commands are being printed as italics, instead of code, see the example below. It’s also wrong when I copy it (i.e. spaces are removed)
hmm I am having a hard time reproducing this, do you have a prompt where you are consistently seeing this error?
It looks like for some reason the terminal commands are being interpreted as math, possibly due to being prefixed with a $, but without being able to reproduce it on my side it is hard to say

After trying my exact query I do now see bash terminal as well.
Maybe o3-mini just sent some dollar signs for a bit?

Yea, since LLMs are non-deterministic it’s hard to say exactly, but I am guessing it just happened to output some formatting our markdown parser did not like :/
If you happen to fun into this again/more consistently, definitely reopen a report and I can look more into what we can do to prevent it
