Our current highlighter lacks support for a few languages, we are working on replacing it with a better one.
To try the new highlighter, you can set a LocalStorage value for BETA_HIGHLIGHTER to true.
Alternatively, you can use custom instructions to tell the AI to use `html` as the language identifier for .astro files. which should get usable highlighting

Can this be made into a toggle option? I’ve noticed that VB/VB.NET does not get highlighted either, which was surprising to me.

We will probably be switching to the beta highlighter for all users very soon, we just needed to test first to make sure it was stable and performant enough before rolling it out.
