The new Gemini 2.5 Pro model (5-30) now supports generating Excalidraw diagrams. It generates the diagram in a JSON format that you can load into Excalidraw to render.
This is not really “supported” from what I can tell, it just seems to be able to do it sometimes
You can still do it in the same way as in Gemini:

Aha. That explains why I didn’t see in the release information. I did see a nice demo of it, though. Sometimes is definitely not enough. Perhaps it’s a pre-release feature somebody tripped over and it is coming soon.
Can you imagine what tode_pond would do with this?

Would be super cool if it was consistent! We have some cool stuff in the works for graph generation in T3 Chat unrelated to this though, so keep an eye out for that
