"Stop generation" button not working

Details: The bot was stuck generating the same row over and over again within a code block. I pressed the stop button which became the send message button but the generation didn’t stop, then I reloaded the page.

Since it’s a fairly quick model It might be the case that the text was already generated and I was seeing queued text streaming in.
But I am reporting this just in case.
