Searched for ‘session’, and ‘conversation history disappears’ and saw nothing, apologies if duplicate.
When I come back to my t3.chat window after some duration without refreshing, my conversations, conversation history, and other things disappear, while things like my profile picture, name, etc persist. This is subtle enough that I don’t immediately notice, and continue to converse with the model, which results in phantom message sending behavior (e.g. you have to hit the stop button and resend to get a response).
Obviously, some system state is expired/invalidated, but because it is not glaringly apparent this is the case, some conversation happens. On refresh, this conversation is not persisted at all, which leads to the UX of flow of
I have some prompts
I go to do work from those prompts
State invalidates
I come back for additional questions, not noticing state invalidation
I get some responses
I eventually notice message sending behavior
Refresh
Only state that existed when a session was valid is persisted, none of the information from 4-5.
The ideal situation is that a refresh is forced at step 3 or 4, without my intervention.
