IMHO these two are related and I feel separated them would cause problems if they become separate additions that do not take each other info account. I also feel the coming soon “Archive a Chat” feature (saw it recently in a Theo video) is also related.
Justifications?
Lately I've been having similar code/tech conversations with different models - specifically same topic - so see and learn their differences. However, after a week, these convos are scattered all over the (frustratingly unsupportive, bordering on useless with a sad dose of counter-productive, but hey, my feelings aren't really important here are they... ) left side chat sidebar.
The ability to:
dragndrop to rearrange our Pinned chats into our preferred custom order
group existing chats into named categories
Additionally, some consideration should be given to implementing the grouping as “tagging” and then allowing the sidebar to list and group by a chosen tag. This quickly gets more complex, but allows for very useful use cases and will obviously cover MANY use cases that can’t be anticipated.
