Show exact model pricing on hover (Tooltip)

Currently, the $ to $$$ badges are too broad. Models with very different costs often share the same $$ rating, making it hard to choose the most cost-effective one.

It would be awesome if we could just hover over the dollar signs to see a tooltip with the exact API cost (e.g., Input: $1.25 / 1M | Output: $2.50 / 1M). This solves the granularity issue without cluttering the current clean UI.

    Even putting it in the model profile page would be more convenient than having to search for it.

    Since price per prompt depends on how many tokens a model tends to use as well as the price per token, I try to get a feel for a new model by using my standard prompts on it. But that involves checking my account page to look at the meter before and after my message, which is a bit of a pain (probably not worth the bother for most people). Maybe the stats could include some way of showing how many units of something (or just the actual API fee XD) each message used?

    maybe. the issue is that most people have no idea what a token is, so that makes it more confusing.

      Possibly if “stats for nerds” is enabled, the tooltip can change to show this info
