Retain Positions within Chats

When working on some things I would like to switch between various chats keeping my position when I last left it (not always at the bottom of the most recent message) as I will often ask another followup question / start another chat and come back to it later.

- The ability to turn on a setting that stores where in a chat I had scrolled to and restore to that position when I next visit it.
- Maybe only store locally/ephemerally?
