Restore the Delete button when hovering threads in list

Feature Request

The Delete button (now replaced with an Archive button) while hovering a thread in the thread list should be reactivated.

Archiving sounds great and I’ll probably use it, but I’d use the Delete button way more often and I’d like it back. I’m fine with keeping the Archive button there too. I guess the reason you replaced it instead of just adding Archive is so that actions from that screen are undo-able, but I have delete-happy mentality formed pre-recycle-bin-OSes, consequences be damned!

If you should choose against it, I’ll suffer using the hotkey instead - just don’t take that away from me.

    Perhaps we can consider it as a toggleable feature, if you don’t like the safer default.

    Or an option to automatically clear archive threads after some time?

    A potential option may be leave it as archive if you hover over, but if you hold shift whilst hovering it changes to delete button? @Mark Florkowski

        would it be possible to also add something like CTRL+SHIFT so that you can delete threads instantly with one click, like you could with previous shift click?

    I agree, the “maj+click” to instant delete a chat was good, but as @Mark Florkowski suggests a configurable auto delete of archived threads would be ok too. But I’d basically put it to 24h or less.
