Or not support uploading file types that are not supported 😅
When it failed to reference my image, I tried on ChatGPT and it told me that my browser does not support HEIC images. Thats what brought me to converting it to JPEG and then it worked in canvas as well.

HEIC should now be automatically converted in T3 Canvas.

I guess if your browser does not support it might break though. Will look into how we could detect that

Great, thank you! Basically it “accepted” the image without any error message, but never previewed it. I accepted that since I used it the first time and thought that you might just not show uploaded images in the UI yet and then learned from the response I got that it did not receive my image 😅
I can try again and check for JS errors in the console when needed.

There should be a little loading spinner now while it does a conversion if needed, then the preview is shown.
I am surprised Chrome would not have HEIC support 👀
Magenta Volcano
Actually, there is a loading spinner, for a veeeery short time. It shows an error
Could not parse HEIF file in the console. I took the image on my iPhone and air dropped it to a mac mini, maybe that corrupted it? But that would surprise me the same as chrome not supporting HEIC.
I’ve recorded a clip of it and attached it.

It seems like chrome does indeed not support HEIC 🤯

I’m on Chrome 145 macOS when that helps you:
