Recent performance issues

Its by no means unusable, the site still works great

but there is a noticeable performance regression of the last few weeks

Authoring messages will noticeable lag and I’m not a fast typer (60 wpm)

Opening and selecting new models will sluggishly close and open

I hope this message finds you well, its not egregiously slow, but from what I know of your marketing and general posture on the product, it does not seem up to the standards I think you were happy with

Figured I’d let you know.

    Can you verify that you are on the latest version of Firefox/Zen? I have gotten similar reports in the past and every time it has been an out of date Firefox install. I am not sure how that happens, but it has been weirdly consistent.

      @Mark Florkowski I updated Zen and yes it solved all the issues I was experiencing

      Part of me feels the need to apologize for the false flag, but another part of me is deeply concerned that slightly out of date FF can mysteriously degrade performance THAT much

        I wish It was something we had any control over. A version of FF that worked perfectly 2 weeks ago, no changes to our code that affect runtime performance, and we still see this issue. Something is not right with that browser engine, and I don’t know what it is. We have never gotten a report of this on chromium based browsers FWIW.
