Quick edit output before copying or exporting out

Often, I generate text and need to make a small change or just go through it once before copying it out to another place. I find myself copying the output and pasting it back into the input chat. Going through it there and making the edits I need before cmd+a and copying it out. But the chat input is not the best place to proofread and make quick edits.

Some sort of button to edit the output in line in a decent ui or a popup like the screen I'm writing this in. And then options to copy it out or export it as a .txt or .pdf maybe idk about the exports really, I just want to copy it.

For example if I'm asking to generate a prompt for midjourney, I'd like to just double click or click a button on the output, make small modifications and then copy the edited thing
