Posting a large context in the chat hangs the client

1. Summary

The application experiences a significant performance degradation and UI unresponsiveness when a large amount of text (specifically, a JavaScript code snippet of approximately 265KB) is pasted into the chat input field. The issue culminates in a complete application freeze, requiring the user to clear local storage to regain functionality.

2. Steps to Reproduce

  1. Open the chat application.

  2. Prepare a large text input (e.g., a JavaScript file, code snippet, or any text exceeding ~250KB).

  3. Copy the text to the clipboard.

  4. Paste the text into the chat input field.

  5. Attempt to submit the input (e.g., by pressing Enter or clicking the send button).

  6. Observe the application's behavior.

    I also have a chat hanging 29d172fe-18bf-493e-8255-87ef7daa84c7 this happend safter some back n forth - I might be wrong but I recall it is usually when llm start opening on key diffrences, similar to screesnhot.

    HI Theo, I just tested it with posting a large javascript file, ask the question “explain me how XXX is calculated and added the snippet of approx 250Kb”, the browser still freezes, i can now delete the chat now, so it no longer completely hangs.

      wait nevermind, fixed another bug. This one still has some work to do

      Make it an attachment same as Discord does for >1kb texts?
