It is not super big issue, but it for sure ruins experience. Even claude chat is faster.

I’d like to second this.
I’ve produced an example on T3 Chat, Grok and ChatGPT that demonstrates there’s a fairly significant performance hit with even simple text files being uploaded serially.

The speed at which Grok handles this by comparison (even to ChatGPT) is insane.
There’s a comment below about speed test results — I just checked and my upload speed is 100mbps (1gbps download).
All of these files are sub 50KB. Not the fairest test as I realised after recording T3 chat that the others only accept up to 10 files, but I hope the difference is clear, nonetheless.
I feel like it is worth mentioning that while parallelising the uploads would make a considerable difference, uploading files generally feels slow.
Here’s the network logs for uploading a single 50KB file with T3 Chat:
This is over 3 seconds.
For comparison:
ChatGPT
(Not going to pretend I entirely understand what’s going on here but the actual upload appears to be “complete” after the second request, though appears ChatGPT is doing something further behind the scenes which is also over 3 seconds).
Grok
Grok only seems to log a single request and it completes considerably faster.
In the spirt of making T3 Chat the fastest chat app possible, I feel this (parallel uploads and the upload process itself) deserves a look.

I am in London, for most websites upload works instantly, but for T3 Chat I need to wait few seconds.
