Feature Request

In cursor compose I can do @url (link)

and have it load the linked webpage into context. It would be nice to have a similar feature for T3 so I don’t have to copy docs.

Main use cases:

  • Linking docs

  • Including an article

  • Analyzing a web page

(I have lots of more ideas on how to make that experience even better, but this is enough of a lift for this feature request!)

    I second this, however, having the link in the message should be enough, without forcing it in the context like @url would. My main use case would be adding the svelte LLM docs to the system message. Allowing it to look them up when needed, but not when the topic is something else.

    Links as context

    For context (pun intended), I work as a software engineer and when I am working on an project I find myself visiting the same few webpages frequently. I would like to provide links as context (much like the file upload feature that already exists).

    For example, I might visit three different code files on GitHub because I am building a feature that reuses a lot of the same logic. Additionally I might have a some internal forum open that discusses solutions to debug an issue also related to that feature. My ideal flow is that I provide links to all of these webpages as context and the AI will use all of that context in response to the questions I ask.

    I think I could achieve an approximation of this feature by downloading the pages manually and then uploading them as PDF files or something. But maybe giving the user the option to add links specifically might open the door to additional capabilities like periodically refreshing the links or something. Maybe that online forum doesn’t have the solution I need by a few days later it does. It would be cool if once the forum is updated then the AI would eventually be able to pull in that context.

      I believe you may be able to specify the link and enable web search on the request to simulate this, though it is not guaranteed to check that exact url. Will see about adding this as a feature though!

    URL based attachments + Attachment reuse

    Hey, I was wondering if we could get the ability to append an llms.txt and maybe link it to a key when chatting with any of the models.

    For example. The angular team provide an llms.txt. https://github.com/angular/angular/blob/main/adev/src/llms.txt

    I would love some way of linking this file to t3.chat with a key e.g. ‘angular’ so that when I want to ask models angular questions it can load this into the context to help the llm provide up to date solutions?

    Ideally this would be managed in the user settings so it would always persist

        Yeah I 100% can do. It was mainly for me being lazy. Would love to not have to grab the file everytime to add it into context and just be able to select it like model. If that makes sense? I imagine you guys have way more important stuff to do. So it’s no big deal if this isn’t something that will ever hit your radar :) loving the tool!

          We have some plans for url-based attachments, but there are potential security concerns that we need to address when allowing arbitrary url retrieval.

            This also may be addressed by “projects” where you could provide the file once and it is accessible for all chats in the project (optionally)

    I can’t get Gemini 2.5 Pro to access links provided in input context.

    Curious why this is the case given that Gemini 2.5 Pro should have the search capabilities that should make accessing links possible, given other models can? Would love all models that can perform web-search to consistently be able to access links. Let me know if I can provide more details!

    this’d be ideal for me to share a link to a documentation and more properly ground the message instead of letting the model use the search tool
