“New Chat” button in side pane not working on iOS safari.

When I tap on the “New Chat” button in the side pane on iOS safari. The pane will close but a new will not be started, I still see the previous chat. I can click on the “+” in the upper left to create a new chat (now that I know what it does). But it is annoying when I want to open a new chat from the pane after looking at my chat history.
