More chat actions has unintuitive (poor) UX

T3 Chat in a large window:

  1. Press "Search" to activate search: Turns button DARK pink

  2. Press "number" e.g. x1 to switch to mirco-menu to adjust max search count

  3. Adjust search count, then press the TICK to CONFIRM

  4. Done.

It's clear when search is active. The TICK confirms the adjusted number.

T3 Chat in a more narrow window:

  1. Press the 3 dots to find the search button

There is plenty of space for the regular search buttons. Why do you hide it in a “more chat actions” menu in the first place? 🤷‍♂️ Please consider only showing the more chat actions on a smartphone (that should be the “xs” breakpoint I assume)

  2. Press "Search" to activate search.

The button does NOT turn DARK pink, as before.
Instead it suddenly shows the max search count after being pressed.

Looking at the UX in the large window: dark pink = active, tick = confirm max search count

Following the flow from the large window the UX suggests that you should press the TICK:
    a. The search is not dark pink.
    b. There's the search count number that can be adjusted.
    c. There is a TICK.

But instead of confirming, it turns off search and closes the more chat actions menu completely.

No matter what else you click in that menu, the menu does not close.
    a. Activate "Search" → stays open.
    b. Press "Attachment" → Stays open.
    c. Adjust max search count → Stays open.
    d. Press anywhere inside → Stays open
    e. Click “search” when it’s active → closes the menu.

It seemst that this chat actions menu was designed for mobile users. Please show it only on small devices.
And please make the UX consistent. It honestly feels like a bug, or something that was just glanced over during development and not given much thought.
