"Model selector" selection confusing

A new user here, trying to get my preferences all set up and ready. I was trying to configure the models I’m using and I found out that the “Select all” button is a little confusing when you’re filtered to a specific category.

What it currently does

Currently, whenever you click the “Select all” button when you’re filtered on a model category (such as reasoning capability) it seems to select all models, so even the ones that are not visible with the current filter criteria. This was confusing to me since it seemed like the preferences I had made were not saving (all models were visible to select when chatting).

What I expected would happen

Rather than selecting all models when clicking “Select all”, I expected it to select all visible models, so in the case where I’m filtering to show only reasoning models, I would expect it to select only the reasoning models. Same for “Unselect all”. It would be great if it could do that!

Alternatives

If changing the current behavior is undesirable, please add a separate set of buttons to select or deselect (or, um, unselect?) visible models.
