I noticed that Gemini 3 Pro is no longer appearing in my model selection list. It was available recently but seems to have disappeared today. Is this a known issue, or has the model been intentionally removed?
but “Gemini 3.1 Pro is currently buggy and unreliable. We recommend you try other models for now.” Is this going to change any time soon?

That is dependent on Google improving their model, so I cannot say for sure. The same warning should have been present on Gemini 3 Pro as well.
Personally, I stay away from gemini models outside of Flash, which is cheap enough to not be concerned if it does something dumb. They are slightly better in coding harnesses, but even still, GPT5.4/5.5 (and even Opus sometimes) are significantly better models there too.

The model is no longer being hosted. They recommend you switch to 3.1 pro.
