T3 Chat Mobile is finally here - Sep 10, 2026

This one has been a long time coming. Mobile has been one of our most requested features since launch, and the T3 Chat mobile app is finally available on iOS through TestFlight.

We know this took way longer than we originally planned, and we know the delays sucked. There were a whole bunch of internal and external factors that got us here, but we're happy to finally be at a point where we can get the app into your hands.

We do want to emphasize the TestFlight part. This is still a beta. There will be bugs, things may break, and there are plenty of things we still want to improve. We think the core experience is ready for real-world use, and we're looking forward to getting your feedback as we work toward the full release.

If you run into anything broken, weird, or unfinished, please let us know.

Android: We haven't forgotten about you. An Android beta is coming soon™.

Finally its here but I already discovered a small bug: a "Verifying…" popup appears on every prompt, and I've even seen a captcha a few times. This only happens in the mobile app, not the web app despite being on the same residential wifi.

This would probably be the biggest win for me. I will often use the ChatGPT app both for quick tasks on the go as well as asking the question in the app when away from my computer and then returning to it on desktop when I get back to my computer. Not having a mobile app is the biggest thing that is keeping me using ChatGPT on the daily. As soon as a T3 app is available I will be able to switch full time to T3. I even went as far as trying to make my own using expo as a wrapper but failed due to Auth.

100% agree. And I just ended my ChatGPT Premium subscription, so not having mobile T3 is a major pitfall.

I just subscribed and the first thing I did was opening the AppStore to download the iOS app for T3 Chat. But to my surprise there is none. This is my number 1 feature request. I don’t want to use T3 in Safari. Please release a native app.

I don’t really get what’s the benefit of a standalone mobile app over just a PWA in this case.
You could just install the app to your home screen and if you guys fix some of the bugs and adjust some UI things here and there that would be like 95% of what an app would offer as it is at this moment.

Unless you guys are thinking of implementing some voice feature I just don’t see the point on focusing on it so early on. Okay, maybe overall it’s a better experience in ways it’s hard to describe but I think we’re talking about really small UI improvements and I don’t think it’s worth focusing on them that hard now especially since it will just add more maintenance and complexity for you guys.

Like on mobile it’s already so fast and light, file upload works, UI feels okayish for me, it’s already like 80% usable and fine. Heck… it’s faster than most native AI apps I used in the past.

Will subscribe if there’s a mobile app. Too deep into my custom setup, so I need an android app for my daily flow 😅

    • White Cucumber

I’ve been using it on android by installing the site to the home screen and it runs smoother than a lot of native apps

  • Indigo Stew

t3 chat app would make this a no brainer subscription / purchase

A proper app would be a game changer to me. i have T3 as a shortcut on my homescreen, and it kind of works, but honestly, opening the chatGPT app feels so much better.
To me there’s a huge difference in User Experience, and because using a tool like this is all about efficiency, you want quick answers and so on, a neatly working app is worth a lot. i use t3 all the time, like daily, and i think it a powerful tool, but a proper iOS app would make this even soooo much better. so i just want to request this once more, so you know how much i want this :) thanks for your product!
