I understand reading the comments that there might be technical issues that prevent T3 Chat from integrating Mistral AI. But I just wanted to emphasize that I would truly love to have their models included in this service as soon as is it is logistically possible.

The “technical issues” are that the company behind Mistral refuses to allow third parties to use good infrastructure for hosting their models, so the experience is degraded compared to the first party “le Chat”. I doubt they will ever change this, but maybe if they did we would consider.

at the moment I am using MitralAI as my model for day to day stuff including email management. I am frankly really surprised to not have it on T3 as AFAIK it is pretty unique and I like its style.

What’s wrong with adding mistral small 3.1? I see duck.ai using small 3 fairly well, I’m sure there’s a good way to integrate it. Mistral has their first party api too.

All of Mistral’s hosting options at the moment are actual garbage.
They’re using Cerebras right now, but they aren’t letting Cerebras sell Mistral usage to other companies yet 🙃
