Message Edit History
If you edit a message in most other chat apps (such as ChatGPT, for example), you can see your edit history. I can’t see any way to do that on T3 chat. Am I being dumb / getting confused by your UI, or is this feature simply missing?

This is essential, let’s us play much more with the models

I agree. I edit prompts a lot, and losing the entire history is very annoying. It’s one of the few things that still pushes me to use OpenAI’s website instead of T3.chat.
Blush Cascade
Would love this feature as well. I don't think there's a way to keep the history as of now.

Was wondering if there’s any plan for this. Editing and going back to previous threads is super important for my workflow.

The “branch off” button is similar to that workflow, but yes, we are looking into revamping all of it

Essential especially when using same model with slightly modified prompts. I honestly thought this feature would already be there
Harlequin Rabbit
It would also be cool if you had a button to generate with a different model and that would be listed as another variation. Sometimes I use the same prompt with 3 different models and compare their answers.

That feature is holding me back from using t3.chat as my current research assistant, some of the edits have good ideas but are not well written, and when I get a good one on the reroll I lost the old idea, it’s frustrating…
Could you revisit this idea @Mark Florkowski ? Is there any technical/feasibility problem?
Mark Florkowski
No technical/feasibility problems, just UX consideration, and only having so many hours in a day

Keep previous responses after retrying
It’s quite annoying when comparing the responses from different models that you can’t look at previous responses after regenerating a response. Pretty much every other AI chat app allows you to go back to previous responses even after regenerating the current response.

Maybe also show the model that particular response was generated with, so you don’t have to remember which retry was with which model
