Math rendering (maybe model output) in some equations is broken. This does not happen with native model providers (for example, ChatGPT, this never happens on this platform).

Example prompt (GPT 5.4):

how to write a x b in curvilinear coordinate system in index notation? for example, in cartesian coordinates, a x b is equal to e ijk a i b j e k

    This is the model malforming the LaTeX syntax. We do out best to coax them into correct formatting, and fix whatever we can in post, but sometimes we cannot automatically fix.

      I kind of wonder how a native provider (ChatGPT) with its own model never has malformed LaTeX syntax though. They work with the same models right? Nowadays, since I work a lot with this kind of math, t3chat is unusable for me.
