Mass credit usage in a single message request

I am using the free plan and I am using the Gemini 3 Flash Model, I have yet to send any message today and I wanted to try out this prompt to see what the response might be from Gemini.

“I need to get my car washed at a car wash, the car wash is only about 100 meters away from my house. Would it be better for me to just walk to the car wash or drive my car there?”

In an instant I was told I was out of credits and I got 0 response.
I would assume that this is due to Gemini using some weird tool but I am fairly new to using AI chats so I am uncertain fully as to what might be causing this.
