Intermediate reasoning detail

The Codex IDE extension has problems, but one thing I like is how it shows the reasoning.

For every thought, it summarizes it, and it shows all the thought summaries then hides them when it finishes thinking fully. For the currently generating thought, it automatically expands the summary while it is thinking that thought, then closes it when it moves onto the next one. This is nice because I can see something while I wait but I don’t usually want to be flooded with the entire reasoning text. I think this or a similar system would be a very good UX change.
