Input box clears prompt after page load

There’s a somewhat consistent issue I’ve been experiencing when my internet connection is slow, where the input box for the prompt allows me to type while the page is loading, but then clears itself once it loads fully. This is very frustrating, since sometimes I send a prompt and the first sentence or so is missing or cut off.

The issue mostly happens on slow/unreliable internet connections, and only occurs when loading the page for the first time (i.e. not on refreshes).
