Improve CTRL + V (paste) behavior

It could be nice if you could paste text directly into the chat box even when the focus is not in the box.

I always swap windows and when coming back to t3.chat, with copied text, I have lost the focus of the text box and I have to click on it.

A shortcut to focus the text box is also an option.

    I want to be able to modify the text i just pasted, why does my pasted text goes as an attachement? Do you know how to prevent this weird behavior? What even is the point of this???

    It would also be nice if there were a way to force paste text as an attachment.

    “/” will focus the input for you, but yeah, I agree it would be nice to be able to paste without focusing the box
