I am unable to log in to t3.chat from Hetzner IP

  • This IP is Hetzner datacenter IP - I have remote desktop there. It is a clean IP - only I have been using it in last few months.

  • I am blocked in all browsers so it must be IP

  • I know Theo hates Hetzner but people do really use them - like me.

    It’s probably because of bot protection, since people run all sorts of things out of Hetzner’s IP blocks. This has nothing to do with Theo’s opinion on Hetzner.

    If you are paying for a static IP and can provide it to me, I can see about allowlisting it, but we will not be blanket allowlisting Hetzner shared IP blocks.
