Gift T3.chat

Feature Request

I’d like to pay for some T3.chat subscriptions for friends who aren’t convinced about paying for it yet.

It would be great to have a way to gift subscriptions, like a Stripe code or something similar, so they get it for free while I cover the cost.

    Would love this feature so that I could gift T3 chat to family members who currently use (eww) ChatGPT. I don’t want any discounts or anything, I just wanna be able to gift (and perhaps even manage) subscriptions to family members or friends.

    Hopefully this can be introduced soon enough. I would love to gift T3 Chat to a few friends to get them to switch over from Claude and ChatGPT.

    +1 for gifting subs. I have several colleagues I would like to introduce to t3 chat, but do not want to impose on them to go through the process without using it first.

    If you dislike vouchers, let me buy t3.chat for sb. else be specifying their Account name / Account ID.

    For gifting, I personally would prefer prepaid (pay once upfront and done), but having any option would be preferable to the current state.

    I’d love to see the “gift” subscription attached to my account. I want to be able to invite a friend/family via email, it’ll show me that I invited them and when. After they accept, I will be billed for their account and see their renewal date to which I’ll be charged again. I don’t need or want it to be a “group” plan where I’m billed for “up to 6 people” or anything, just per account. Our account would be separate except for they won’t see a billing panel, and I will see them under mine. Give each of us a simple “detach account” functionality, which will result in their paid-tier ending at end of what was paid for, unless of-course they opt into a new subscription.

    Would be amazing! I have a lot of friends who are oddly hesitant to get into modern LLMs because they tried free tier of ChatGPT with gpt-4o-mini and didn’t like it. I have some spare cash that I’d like to spend on gifts for them. T3 chat is perfect for this.

    Probably easier to implement without Stripe, just on the app level. Maybe have the ability to redeem a code to get N credits? Maybe even pay with crypto?..
