I wish I could explain how this happened, but I swear I just asked Gemini 3 Pro to check my text and it just… didn’t… stop. I had to manually stop it from generating. Pretty sure it used up 1/3 of my base points just doing this. Was this caused by having both search and reasoning on? I thought that just risked an empty output.

    Looking at it closer, it kind of looks like Gemini started outputting thinking data to the regular output. How is that even possible??

      The model is kind of… bad :/

      I have reported the issue to Google Deepmind team and they have told me that they are working on it, but honestly I just recommend using other models because this has been a persistent issue with Gemini for a while now, even in their own app, so we know it is the model itself.
