Gemini 2.5 pro search reasoning in response area

As the title says, today when I started using 2.5 pro with search function, it replied with the reasoning tokens inside the response area, kind of weird and hard to tell apart.

    It’s a bug in the google API, working with their team to get it corrected.

    Yup happened to me as well, but only when i use the web search tool

    This is a bug on Google’s side. We have reported it to them but do not have further information.

      FYI, reasoning section says the search is “simulated” so it’s not getting passed or activated on their end. No search results available.
