Gemini 2.5 Pro responses not showing images
Getting great responses, but when trying to generate an image it shows a broken image icon. I exported the chat, and it gave me a GCS URL at (
https://storage.googleapis.com/generative-ai-downloads/t3-chat/…) which gives me a 404.

Gemini 2.5 pro does not have image generation capabilities. The urls it is providing are hallucinations
Rose Newt
That sucks. Ok, can you recommend a model for the generation of a sequence of painterly images?

GPT Imagegen is the only model currently on T3 Chat with image generation capabilities
Rose Newt
Thanks. You should make that clearer in the model descriptions. I get that it’s the only one that suggests that capability, but it’s not clear that it’s the only one that has it.

Makes sense! I’ll add a capability icon to make it clearer!

Can you share a chat url where you encountered this so I can check the logs?

This appears to be a conversation with Gemini 2.5 pro which does not have image generation capabilities. You can switch to GPT Imagegen to generate images.
