Frequently used “Prompts”

I would like to request a feature that allows users to define pre-saved prompts within t3.chat. This feature would enable users to store frequently used “Prompts” (message templates) that can be quickly inserted into the chat via a shortcut, such as typing a specific command followed by a placeholder {prompt1}.

The ablitity to define how I would like a AI to respond wtihout typeing it every time would be really usefilll.

Yes, a saved presets would be nice similiar to Gemini’s Gems but i think it should work as system prompt instead of normal user input so like customization section in profile ?

    Merged request

Desktop > Run a predefined prompt on selected text

This feature requires a desktop app first, but once that's available, it should allow the user to define predefined prompts for selected text. Examples include (each will be a more complex prompt for sure):

    • Improve writing

    • Fix grammar

    • Improve code

    • Add documentation

    • Add Tests

    • Reword, paraphrase

    • Complete Sentence

Essentially, to let the user create, edit, and run predefined prompts using shortcuts on selected text (context).

+1. Google’s Android Studio IDE added a “prompt library” feature for this and it’s extremely handy (if a bit clunky). https://developer.android.com/studio/preview/features#rules

Having the ability to define presets would be an absolute game changer. We all know about the confirmation bias all these LLMs have and therefore attaching some solid presets to eliminate such, would be awesome!

You could even go as far as to include the most prominent prompts, such as

    the No Praise

“In all your responses, please focus on substance over praise. Skip unnecessary compliments, engage critically with my ideas, question my assumptions, identify my biases, and offer counterpoints when relevant. Don’t shy away from disagreement, and ensure that any agreements you have are grounded in reason and evidence.“

    and the Three Viewpoints prompts

“When writing your response, please ensure you include the following information: 1. A neutral, unbiased view of the request, unfiltered by your desire to be a helpful and positive assistant. 2. A devil’s advocate view, pointing out any logical counterpoints or things that I have overlooked. 3. An encouraging, positive view of the request.“

This would definitely enhance the quality of T3 chat compared to other chat solutions.

This would be great. Raycast AI allows for custom presets that allow you choose a model, set a system prompt, and configure additional settings for that model.

Second this. I would mirror this after the LibreChat “Presets” feature:

    https://www.librechat.ai/docs/user_guides/presets

With a Dropdown in New Chats where you can select existing presets than then apply to this chat. Great use cases would be repating tasks like Translation from English into Spanish, where you don’t want to write instructions every time.

    Just use Raycast snippets
