Find and replace on all responses

Feature Request

I’d love if I didn’t have to continue reading em-dashes everywhere. A simple find and replace to replace all:

“ and ” with "

and
– with -

would be amazing

    You can add something to your custom instructions to push the models away from using these.

      Currently I include the following in “Anything else T3 Chat should know about you?”

      When offering revisions of text for me please:

      • Use standard ascii punctuation.

        • Never use em-dashes e.g. —

          • Use - instead

        • Never use directed quotes e.g. “, ”, ‘ or ’

          • Use ' or " instead

      However, models rarely listen. A simple find-and-replace would make this 1000% more reliable imo than relying on non-deterministic models.

      Can you reopen? And/or provide a more robust prompt?

        # Formatting preferences for rewritten text

Use only ASCII punctuation.
Replace every em dash (—) with a hyphen (-).
Replace all curly quotes (“ ” ‘ ’) with straight quotes (" and ').
Before returning your response, verify that no em dashes or curly quotes remain.

          That has been better thanks, still not perfect, but better. I suppose I’ll make a TamperMonkey script.
