Enhanced Thread Navigation and Prompt Categorization Features

I'd like to propose a set of enhancements to improve navigation and organization of chat threads on T3 Chat. These features target the challenges of managing long, multicontext threads and aim to simplify navigating and categorizing prompts. Here’s a detailed breakdown of what I'm envisioning:

1. Collapsible Prompts and Answers:

   • Ability to collapse/expand individual prompts along with their respective answers.

   • This would greatly help in reducing visual clutter in long threads by allowing users to focus on the sections that are most relevant.

2. Right Sidebar with Prompt Navigation:

   • A sidebar that displays a list of all the prompts in the current chat thread.

   • Users can easily navigate to any prompt by clicking on its entry in the sidebar.

   • Shortcut keys such as Home and End should be enabled to let users quickly jump to the top or bottom of the thread.

3. Prompt Categorization and Tagging:

   • Option to insert breaks, tags, or labels on prompts to indicate different contexts or topics.

   • The UI would reflect these breaks—possibly by changing the background color of the prompt block or displaying a subtle separator.

   • This feature will be especially useful when mixing prompts of entirely different contexts within the same chat, allowing for clear visual separation without removing any content.

4. Multicontext Thread Indicator:

   • In cases where a chat thread includes prompts from different contexts, an icon or indicator should be displayed in the navigator.

   • This visual cue would help users quickly identify multicontext threads.

   • Alternatively, allowing users to tag prompts with specific contexts that can then be used to filter or highlight in the navigator would be beneficial.

These features would make it much easier to navigate long discussions, quickly locate specific pieces of content, and maintain an organized thread even when the conversation shifts between different topics. It addresses use cases where users need a quick overview of all the prompts and a way to jump between them seamlessly.
