Totally agree. LaTeX is great, except when I'm just asking about dollar ranges. Hell, why not do some AI inference to figure out if it's LaTeX or dollars? No idea how difficult that is.

Is THAT why the response sometimes renders strangely??? 🤯 I've been scratching my head trying to figure out why my text glitches out. I see this constantly when I use currency terms like "$30/month" or "$50".
It seems like the parser sees the dollar signs and assumes I'm trying to start a math equation, which totally breaks the formatting of the rest of the paragraph. I honestly didn't put two and two together until reading this post! I would definitely vote for a toggle to disable this; it's really annoying when you are discussing pricing or coding variables and the interface tries to force calculus on you.
Mind you, I do like calculus — Just not when I’m trying to work out if a finance plan I’ve constructed is sound!
