CTRL + "-" should not be overloaded
As it is the de-facto standard for decreasing font size in the most major Linux Desktop apps. Currently ctrl + “+” increases the fontsize, while ctrl + “-” draws up the model picker. Please revert this.

What keyboard layout are you using? that shourtcut should be
Ctrl+/Yellow Toaster
A german keyboard layout.
ctrl “+” … increase font size
ctrl “-” … decrease font size
all browsers
libreoffice
vscode
terminals
etc …
support this out of the box.

I know what ctrl+ and - do, and they work fine on a qwerty layout, that is why I was asking about your layout.
I have some fixes currently in progress that I hope to get out this week that should help address this.
Yellow Toaster
btw, this german keyboard behaviour also is default on windows machines. Thanks for going into this!
