I suggest to make the codeblock header that contains the copy button sticky. Two birds one stone
Yellow Coaster
With the shortcut too, even better
Aqua Carrot
shortcuts to copy the code blocks,
like chatgpt ctrl+shift+c copies latest (last) code block. So something similar can be better.
Yellow Coaster
Even better, both of those world, the sticky copy button and the shortcut Hell yeah
Bronze Forest
The copy button should be sticky (e.g. at the top right, still out of the way of the code block) as the 200+ line code floods the chat. Would consider folds as an option too but that’s probably a separate fr
Purple Star
thinking about I copy code blocks elsewhere:
To long, let me review it in my code editor (top)
Just fully reviewed, accepting (bottom)
Just checked, the part I’m worried about (middle)
With these models, I should probably break the habbit of (3), since my “am I worried” sense is tuned for humans, and in my somewhat limited experience, predictions contain very different failure modes.
So, sticky would be great, 2nd best would be a button at the top and bottom, esp if you feel sticky could add “mobile is hard cuz floaty buttons”.
long time listener first time caller, thanks for zoomy chats

Crazy how this hasn’t been implemented yet. Scrolling up a long code file just to copy it is pretty unintuitive.
Orange Koala
How is this a month old? How difficult is it to make the copy button always visible or at least put another at the bottom of code.
Harlequin Bunny
How about a setting where snippet always goes to clipboard? Avoids a scroll and click

unintuitive, and risky to overwrite a user’s clipboard.
Copper Pickle
please NEVER put something automatically in the user’s clipboard unless they explicitly requested it through a “copy to clipboard” action or such
