I quite often will put my own text in a code block to send over to a model. Having my own messages be as organized as the models’ output is important to me.
Recently I’ve been experiencing a bug where the code blocks that I send to the model are remaining a fixed size if the window is thin and tall.

In this first screenshot you can see that the code block is the shape that it should be. About the same shape as a message.

This second one is an example of the issue. Once I resize the window to be about half the screen width, the code block seems to take on the width of the longest line in the code block. The thing is then fixed by enabling text-wrapping, as shown in the next screenshot, but that has it’s own problem.
~~~
As seen in the above screenshot, the text wrapping fixes the size of the code block. But then there’s a different issue. For some reason, when I disable or enable text wrapping in the input message specifically, the message resends, or the model regenerates the message. It’s really annoying, especially when I forget, and it resets the chat history I had after the first message. I’ve also tested that it happens in a private window too.
Below is a video of the issue. (a captcha popped up at the end that’s kinda funny)
