Button to Enlarge/Fullscreen tables

Feature Request

When generating tables, a lot of the time the content gets cut off and you must horizontally scroll to see the rest of it. There is plenty of screen space to display all the data, it is just that it wouldn’t fit within the chat width. It feels in-optimal, especially on larger screens, where I know I could easily see everything but you limit it.

If there was a button to enlarge/fullscreen the table in order to see more of the data it would be much more usable.

Obviously you aren’t using that specific library, but it elucidates the idea.

    The button “Expand all cells” should also expand the table in the width direction.

    In a browser on a desktop you can get a bit more use out of your screen by changing (using the developer tools) the value of ‘-container-3xl’ to something low.That really helps reading overview tables.

    Would love to see a feature like this! It would also be great to see it be done with code.. That would be REAL nice.

    I would love something like this, where table and code panels could be expanded to full width. Maybe outside of this discussion, but related - collapsible code blocks would improve my life.

    Collapsible code blocks use case: I know most cool kids use cursor or other AI tools, but when the chat response includes code for multiple files, it would be help if I could collapse the code panel into first 3 lines of code rather than scrolling 800viewport height units just to accidentally copy code from previous response because I missed my one row chat bubble where I realigned the models thinking.

    Looks like the “fullscreen” button would use the same icon as the “expand all cells” button. Perhaps the “expand all cells” button’s icon could be replaced to be similar to the “enable text wrapping” button on codeblocks.

    Outside of that side comment, not much to say. This would be a very welcome feature.

    Please, not just tables, but also code.

    I have a wide monitor and the chat is just a narrow strip in the middle with a lot of horizontal scrolling.
