[BUG] Text entered in the chat box not showing correct behavior after refresh

When refreshing the page, we get an error where the text is visible in the chat box but the UI believes the text box is empty

    fixed in beta.

    This happens after login as well, so not strictly on refresh. I typed a message without realizing I was signed out, got rerouted to sign in, and was sent back to my new chat, but the same bug in the video appeared.
