Broken shortcuts in mid-size viewport

When the viewport drops below 768px md, the sidebar is forced hidden, but only shows a button to open the sidebar, when dropping below 640px sm, we get the search and new chat buttons. They also appear at 768px md, if the user has hidden the sidebar. This means that when the sidebar is set to “show”, your viewport is between sm-md you’re missing the two buttons, this also breaks the shortcut for opening a new chat (ctrl+shift+O)

The expected behavior is to probably just trigger the sm behavior at md instead.
