Branch before ANY user message in a chat

I would like to be able to branch from ANY previous user messages in a chat.

At this point, I found out that Branching was what i needed in exploratory chats with AI. It really blew my mind when I fist used it.

For me it would be really useful to branch on prev messages for the cases where i had some exploratory path, but i see that the discussion went sideways on the last messages, but I didn’t had the intuition branch at the wright time.


I think this si a simple implementation as it’s similar to the current branch but it would just need a trim. Maybe a little challenging on the UI side, as the message buttons are on the bottom of the message and this would be logically before the message.

Maybe do whatever and present for us Experimental toggle in settings so we can be o the cutting edge with the conscious decision that we may sacrifice some sanity along the way? :D
